i dont have the money to buy a costume, but i want to look cute.. any costume ideas ??? ps i'm a little on the chubby side so nothing that shows too much skin, it is halloween, but that may be too scary

I have a Puggle who weighs about 24lbs. I'm entering him in a dog costume contest but don't want to purchase the standard everyone-has-it costume from the store. I'm willing to put some time and effort in for DIY costume. Any ideas? I want it to be creative and unique! I am also willing to be in costume if that will help. For example I've seen the dog dressed as a cop and the owner as a prisoner. That was pretty funny. I want to do something way more creative than a standard like that though. Help!

I'm a nineteen year old girl and has no idea what to be for Halloween this year. Most likely I'll end up going to a party with friends. I want my outfit to be something cute and more on the girlie side. I don't want an outfit that revealing or anything. Something I could put together myself would be even better. I don't want to have to deal with the whole online ordering of things. Please anyone ideas.

Me and my buddy are going into NYC for halloween and want to do costumes that relate to each other. We've come up with mario and luigi, bill and ted, and the blues brothers. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions that would be fun/humorous for a good night out. Thanks.

My friend Kelsey and I are going trick-or-treating together this halloween and we want to have matching costumes (like ketchup and mustard) but we both want to dress up as people. We are 13 years old and we're open to any fun, unique ideas for costumes that we could make ourselves. Thanks for the help!

Every year, I have a ton of trouble finding a Halloween costume. Anything that I like is too tight or too skimpy for my mother's delicate taste, and anything she likes is plain ol' uncomfortable. [I was a banana and chicken two years; both costumes were made out of huge cardboard boxes. Oy] And I HATE going trick or treating and seeing 6 other girls with my Halloween costume that I got from such and such store.
So, does anyone have any cute, but not slutty! ideas I could be for Halloween? Some of mine:
- Siouxsie Sioux / Grace Slick / Janis Joplin
- Kitty cat (no, not the lingerie type, the actual cat)
- Pirate princess (home made)

I've got a halloween party to go to soon and I want a costume that's different, will stand out, in is generally an amazing costume.
It doesn't matter if it's easy to make or if I buy it, I just need a costume.
and no devil outfits, vampire costumes or skeleton suits - I need something nobody would think of!

I am entering my son in a contest for the cutest homemade halloween costume, I was goint to be a palm tree and he was going to be a little monkey but i am not allowed to be a part of the costume.
does anyone have some original ideas that you may want to share? if its a good idea i will send you a pic of him in it if he wins:)
