I am having a Halloween party this year and everyone is going to wear costumes. We are both 17 and girls but we thought it would be fun to dress up together. Last year we were a cop and robber. Any ideas would be appreciated!
I've recently bought quite a few mini Star Wars costumes on Ebay meant for chickens and in order to dress the chicken up, I will also need a chicken. I live in the city but at this time in my life, I really need a pet chicken.
It's hard to believe that some people might feel uncomfortable dressing up as a pimp this coming Halloween. This is due to the fact that you might associate the word pimp with criminal activity. But for this Halloween let's take away the serious side of it and just look at the outlandish dress of the typical pimp. Think about how different you will be this Halloween dressed up as a pimp. Let's give this fun idea some thought.
Both you and I know that there are going to be a lot of vampires this Halloween. Do you really want to be a vampire too? Do you really want to go through the trouble of dressing up as a vampire again only to look like everybody else? How about instead thinking about all the bling you can wear dressed up as a pimp. Now this is an original costume.
Let me address those of you who might have a little bit of concern about dressing up in a pimp costume. Here are my thoughts. First realize that you're not have to wear any makeup. Also realize that you're going to be wearing comfortable clothing. You can get away with wearing silk, velour, or in some cases even a velvet jacket. You're going to be feeling comfortable as well is looking good.
A pimp costume has a lot going for it. I'd only has a comfortable, but it is also easy to put together. Let your imagination run wild. Get some ideas from the Internet. Look at all the different accessories you can add. On top of this, all that is going to be quite affordable Give some thought to the color of your shirt and whether you want to wear a tie or have you shirt wide open. Some of the accessories include a necklace with a gold dollar sign, a wide brimmed hat, and a flashy cane.
Since there are so many pimp costume options to choose from you can always find one that you will be comfortable in.if you want a blue and pink suit for that special look - that's fine. I think the zebra look is a nice addition. What you can be certain of is that no one will be able to imitate your costume. You certainly are going to be original.
The only caution I need to give you is wearing the costume around busy areas - you might be mistaken for real pimp. Went to be funny to have someone come up to you as a customer? Also, you might be approached by some women who want you to represent them. You don't want to go too far and carrying on your pimp costume identity. I hope you really have a good time!
The most important aspect of any pimps and ho's theme party is the costume that you wear. The costumes that men wear during a pimps and ho's party are very snazzy. You do not want to go overboard acting like a real pimp on Halloween. Girl Pimp Costume

I'm planning on throwing a little Halloween party for my 2 year old and his playgroup friends and didn't want to do it the weekend before Halloween b/c of all the fun events going on and my best friend and her kids can't make it the 20th of October (I really want her there) so that leaves the 13th. But, is it odd to throw a Halloween party that early? I'm just planning on having the kids wear costumes, play a few games (whatever 2 year olds can do), have lunch and pass out treats. Thanks for any responses.
I'm a single mom on a tight budget but my daughter wants to go as something scary, anyone have any affordable ideas?
She's 11, a tomboy, not very girly. For example last year she went as a zombie/skeleton with guts hanging out. lol.
