Is this a good idea for a 90's fancy dress? I want something a bit unusual so thought this would be cool, with the ty tag and quite easy as there is a lot in choice in animal.
With all the choice I can't think of what to go as though! I don't really want to have to do face paint or but a costume like a bear suit or something. I'd like something simple to make (i love doing homemade costumes) and not too expensive.
Any costume ideas? Animals I could do (and a picture of that beanie if possible) and how I could put it together with items easy to get/make

I live in Louisiana and it's still hot here. Chances are it won't be 90 degrees, but it also won't be cold. Almost all of the costumes for babies are furry! You know what I mean? For example, most are animals, made out of very warm material, or are "sacks"/buntings.
I need a costume idea for my daughter who is 3 months. She is a big baby, fitting into mostly 6 mths clothes.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I need a costume for me and my date. I'm blonde and 5'2 and he's a brunette and 6'2... I want to be something creative, not just the cliche barbie and Ken or cowboy an indian thing. It can literally be anything, even animals (Tom and Jerry etc. )

If so what is your pet? I didn't have the money this year but next year I really what to make a costume for my dog. I want to make him sheep costume and I will be little-bo-peep. Cute eh?

Many people have heard that people in animal welfare do not adopt black cats out during the Halloween season. Now this has spread to all white cats as well. This color has appeal to Satanists for it's representation of wholesomeness and virginity.
White cats are well-liked and easy to adopt, but when rescues hold back adoptions the rate of white cats being euthanized skyrockets.
As someone who has been in the animal welfare field for 20 years I have experience running shelters and I have recently started my own rescue. For every animal in my care it is important to find the right forever home. For all these years I would cease adopting black and white cats throughout the Halloween season. When someone would inquire about a cat with these colors I would let them know that they were not available until after October ended.
Each Halloween I would simply ignore the fact that numerous black and white cats were in foster homes for an extra month. I would ignore the euthanasia lists that I received from the county shelters that listed loads of black and white cats and kittens. I was simply doing what every other rescue did, right? I was saving all those black and white cats from the "bad guys." Wrong. Because of me more cats of those colors died. Best Friends Animal Rescue issued a gentle challenge to animal welfare organizations this month when they wrote about all the black cats being euthanized because rescues refused potential adopters.
After being in animal rescue for years, you get a gut sense about people and you know when to deny an adoption. Adoption processes are unique for each organization but usually involve screenings in writing, in person and sometimes even a visit to the home. Why do we stop doing this in October? Do we really think that every person walking in the door wants to do our black or white cats harm?
If you get a phone call from someone who only wants a black cat or only wants a white cat then you can ask why. If someone comes and meets the beautiful Turkish Angora with the stunning green eyes and they hold her and cuddle with her and fall in love, why would you deny just on principle?
There are people who want to do harm to animals. Most of them are not coming into a rescue to pay for an animal they are going to later discard. There are so many strays and ferals running around they could simply pick one of them.
