I am looking for some ideas on how to make a homemade zombie costume. Help?

You could never look anything but stunning…but may i suggest that a real wow factor would be better achieved by a Bride of Frankenstein costume?
Go to the charity shops and look for an old wedding dress…preferably a 1950’s style one which is ballerina length. The tattier the lace the better it will suit…and you may wish to add some strategic razor slashes over your boob region as an added allure factor.
Tease your hair and spray it so it sticks out at angles. Black lipstick and nail polish…and super high heels…fishnet stockings in white…with rips in them as well will complete the look.
Very pale power foundation a la Goth girls look is best…and use dark purple eyeshadow…lots of kohl pencil around the eyes.

Buy some cheap but pretty clothes, and rip them up. Do your hair in a frizzy ponytail. Put some fake blood on, make your face look pale. Use fake blood.
So you’re going for a "Return of the Living Dead 3" kind of look, maybe?

Get a cheap dress and tatter it. Put some red food coloring dripped alll over. Flats or whatever sheoes.
The night before, Have ur mom or sister or whoever help u put ur hair in tiny braids all over ur head! This will take a while so get some help from ppl. and in the morning take the braids out and comb it a little and itll be frizzy and then put dark makeup on and smudge it by wiping ur face and putting a little water on ur face
Youll look great!
Go to a thrift store and buy a old bridal dress and veil. The makeup would be easy to do: Lots of white makeup and lots of dark around the eyes and mouth…
Rip and "bloody" the dress and veil and start working on your best "Thriller" moves!
