i'm making one for a specific halloween costume. i can sew, but i've never made a bra from scratch

Usually the fabric that bra’s are made out of are difficult to sew. Typically you don’t see much stitching in bra’s…it will be a challenge to make it not look homemade. I guess it would depend on what you make it out of…what type of elastic, fabric, etc.
Lets say, I would start now….
But it depends how GOOD you are at sewing, like an 8, a 10, or a 2.
“I can sew” but….doesn’t mean mean much without finer details.
I can’t sew so don’t take it personally, but I would get started on that bra as soon as possible!! Good luck!
