Home-made Mad Hatter Costume?

Okay hi. :]
So, for Halloween I want to be the Mad Hatter. (Yes, I'm a girl. I want to be original.)
I don't want to buy my costume, because those are all dresses... and none of them actually look like the Mad Hatter's costume.
So, I want to spice mine up.
I was thinking a teal button-up blouse with the collar up. That I already have.
On top of that I would wear a yellow coat, but not button that one up.
Then I'm not sure what color pants to wear. >.<
& Of course, a light blue bow-tie.
OH ! And a hat, obviously.
So, could anyone help me find those things ? (The coat, what color pants and where to buy them, the light-blue bow tie, and the hat ?)
