Halloween Costume For Mom And Baby?

I am looking for some cute costume ideas for me and my 9 month old baby. So far, my mom has suggested a lion and I was thinking of being a lion tamer. We are only going to go to a few houses and collect money for Unicef (she can't eat the candy and I certainly don't need it) so I don't want to spend a fortune...odds are we'll both be sleeping before it's even dark out. Any ideas would be great.

one halloween our daughter was 18 months and we went around the neighborhood with some relatives… of course she got tired, so we had our Ergo Baby Carrier w/ us… worked out that she was dressed at a fairy… so her wings were still sticking out when she was on my husband’s back……soooo cute!!
if you’re just collecting for charity… you could even just find some of the cute holiday tshirts they have at walmart, target, even old navy has them cheap… and both wear jeans…
Well I got away with being me…Mary…and dressed up my daughter as a Lamb…she was about 4 months last year for her first halloween. Of course it only works if someone knows who you are LOL. I think the Lion and Tamer is really cute. If you have green pants or a green skirt and floral top, you can make your baby a bee and you the flower…Dog and cat…just put some ears on you and paint whiskers…If you have a mask and snorkel you could be a diver and your baby a fish…there are a ton of things you can do. we took our son out last year when he was only 2 1/2 months! he was a sweet pea, i was little red riding hood, and my husband was grim reaper. of course we ate all his candy! we even got extra for how cute our little baby was!
this year my hubby has to work 2nd shift so it’ll just be my son who’ll be about 15 months and he’s gonna be a cute fluffy chicken and i’m gonna be a farmer girl with freckles!
I saw a really cute snail costume, a lobster costume, and an octopus costume for babies about that age! teach your baby to roar if he is gonna be a lion. That was the first noise my son made when he was only like 3 months old and he still roars to this day!
