Can You Help Me Find A Halloween Costume For My Dog?

I have two St. Bernards I need to dress for a contest tomorrow...I'm trying to find something quick and easy, something I can buy at a quick stop at the store or preferably make here at my house. I'm pretty creative so if you give me an idea to go off of I can probably make it work. It's just hard to go to the store and buy a costume that's already made with such large dogs. Any ideas?

they have a moose costume for large dogs at target. it is only about 7 dollars. it is is really cute and everyone else will think so too. it will be really easy and you can even pick it up an dress him in it on your way to wherever you are going
you can take some foam rubber like an egg crate and make them in to a Twinkie. if that is not what you are looking for the other idea is to take the foam and wrap it just under the tummy. Cut two slits and tie it to them with yellow ribbon and make them in to a hot dog.
I would try the whiskey barrel or keg since they’re St. Bernards. You could make one (fairly simple, you could clip it to their collars somehow or simply attach it to a lanyard; I believe the trouble would be in keeping it on them) or order a custom-made one.
Or you could go with a pumpkin…I think pumpkins would be cute, but I have absolutely no experience in sewing, and thus, I have no pattern ideas.
Good luck with your contest!
A couple of Halloweens ago, I took my old Beagle/Lab mix girl out trick or treating with the kids. We dressed her as a “huntin’ dawg”, and dressed her up in a camo shirt and baseball cap. It was cute
Good luck at your contest BTW!
You can always dress them as a bride and groom.
No I can’t but mind you the day after Halloween, the vet offices are overflowing with poisoned animals.

Let them go as dogs. Why you want to dress them up like that. That’s abuse!
One idea is a hawaiian theme. You can get some inexpensive leis or to make your own (Make flower leis. Cut a simple flower pattern from different colors of construction paper, tissue paper, or crepe paper. Punch a hole in the center of each flower. String the flowers onto yarn necklaces, using cut-up straws as spacers), a coconut and some string, and for the “grass skirt” You’ll need a roll of brown wrapping paper, glue and a self-adhesive Velcro fastener (available at craft stores). Cut off two sheets of paper that measure the size you want and lay one on top of the other. Staple them together along the short side (to form the waist) about 1/2 inch from the edge.
For a waistband, use a 4-inch-wide paper strip with the same circumference as the skirt waist. Glue the lower half of the waistband to the stapled edge of the skirt front. Fold over the waistband top and glue it to the inside of the skirt. For a more decorative waistband, twist together two long paper strips and glue them on. Use scissors to fringe the skirt from the hemline to just below the waistband. Finally, stick one part of the Velcro fastener to the front of one waistband end and the matching part to the back of the band’s opposite end. Wrap the skirt around your dog’s waist and fasten.
If your dog is a boy, buy an eye patch and turn the dog to a pirate. If a girl trim a dress with sparkles and find a tiara to make the dog into a princess. You can go to Buy costumes.com or go to Party City to get a costume. Good Luck!!!!!
