Anyone have any easy to make homemade Halloween costume ideas for a girl who wants to be scary?

Halloween Costumes
I'm a single mom on a tight budget but my daughter wants to go as something scary, anyone have any affordable ideas?
She's 11, a tomboy, not very girly. For example last year she went as a zombie/skeleton with guts hanging out. lol.

I would do a headless costume. It’s easy to do and very versatile. I did my sons costume last year and all I needed was an old longer shirt , my jeans, newspaper (to stuff the shirt) and some makeup. He got compliments all night. Here’s some examples:

Well, how old is she? Does she want to be something sexy, but scary? If si, you could try doing a sexy zombie type of thing. just get any type of clothing,(tight if sexy) rip them a little, put red liquid to look like blood on her clothes and on the corners of her mouth. My bro was a zombie once. We did the same thing, only he wasn’t sexy. She soesn’t have to be sexy, though.
Well she could be a dead prom queen.
Just mind a dress that she has that you don’t mind if it gets dirty.
I’m sure she has a crown somewhere.
Put that on her and get some blood from the halloween store and put it around her mouth and hands and all over her dress.
If you can afford a sash that says queen or princess that would be great!
